HVAC Extended Warranty

Some manufacturers offer an extended warranty program in-house, which is much more stable than the extended warranties offered by a 3rd party such as Equiguard which had an EPIC fail recently and filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.

These manufacturers like Goodman/Amana, American Standard, and Carrier are currently providing 10 year parts and labor plans for their residential HVAC equipment.  These extended warranty plans cover everything related to the mechanical functioning of the unit.  All maintenance related issues such as Preventive Maintenance Appointments, coil washes, and clogged drains are not covered.
